I worked with PSP2020 Ultimate
you can follow this tutorial with another version of PSP, but the result might be slightly different

the image and character tube are not provided. I chose one of my tubes to create my two versions

TIP 1 -> if you don’t want to install a font -->
open it in a software as « Nexus Font » (or other font viewer software of you choice)
as long as both windows are opened (software and font), your font will be available in your PSP
TIP 2 -> from PSPX4, in the later versions of PSP the functions « Mirror » and « Flip » have been replaced by -->
« Mirror »has become  --> image => mirror => mirror horizontal
« Flip » has become  --> image => mirror => mirror vertical

prepare your work
duplicate all the tubes and work with the copies to preserve originals
open the masks and mimimize to tray
double-click on the preset to import
save your work often in case of problems with your psp
don’t hesitate to change blend modes and opacities of the layers to match your personal colors and tubes

The background
choose a spring image of colourful flowers
to create the gradient, you will choose 2 bright colours in this image
one will be used for the foreground and the other for the background => name your colors « 1 » and « 2 »

open a new image => transparent =>  900 * 600 px
effects => plugins => Mehdi => Wavy Lab 1.1 => colors 1 / 2 / 3 / 4
colors « 3 » and « 4 » are generated by the plugin itself, you have to change them
by choosing 2 other colors from your image to create a gradient of 4 different colours that blend well together
rename thes 2 new colors « 3 » and « 4 »
