translator’s note : Merydesig uses PSPX9 and I use PSP2018 to create our tags
but you can follow this tutorial with any other version of PSP
according to the version you use, the results might be slightly differents

Hints & Tips
TIP 1 -> if you don’t want to install a font -->
open it in a software as « Nexus Font » (or other font viewer software of you choice)
as long as both windows are opened (software and font), your font will be available in your PSP
TIP 2 -> from PSPX4, in the later versions of PSP the functions « Mirror » and « Flip » have been replaced by -->
« Mirror » --> image -> mirror -> mirror horizontal
« Flip » --> image -> mirror -> mirror vertical

Material
tubes - pattern - gradient

open all tubes and duplicate them (window -> duplicate)
Close original tubes and work with the copies (to preserve the originals)
don’t forget to erase tubes’ watermarks before using them
copy / paste gradient into « gradient » folder of Corel PSP folder
copy / paste pattern into « patterns » folder of Corel PSP folder

Filter Attacks - Animation Shop

Use the pencil to follow the steps hold down left click to grab it and move it

Realization

open a new transparent image  950 * 700 px
prepare the gradient « red to black » into the FG box of the paterials palette

flood fill layer with this gradient

layers -> duplicate
image -> mirror -> mirror horizontal

set the opacitiy of the copy on 46%
layers -> merge -> merge down

layers -> new raster layer
flood fill with the pattern  « sparkleglass008%5Fsmall »

adjust -> colorize

layers -> duplicate
rename both layers : « noise 1 » and « noise 2 »
highlight « noise 1 » -> adjust -> add-remove nosie -> add noise

highlight « noise 2 » -> adjust -> add-remove noise -> add noise -> change 35 by 45 %
close the eye of « noise 2 »

layers -> new adjustment layer -> brightness/contrast

highlight bottom layer (Raster 1) -> layers -> duplicate
layers -> arrange -> bring to top
effects -> plugins -> Filter Attacks
click on « filter » at the bottom

find the good preset : Border : Kreise

play with the cursors to obtain the same result and click on the red arrow

copy / paste as new layer « decor 1 »
effects -> image effects -> offset

enable the smart selection tool « green star » with the following settings

selections -> promote selection to layer

enable « selection 2 » and add noise changing 40% by 50%
close the eye of « selection 2 »
selections -> select none

copy / paste as new layer « decor_coin »
objects -> align -> bottom

effects -> user defined filter -> « Edge_Enhance »

add your watermark or signature on a new layer
your layers palette looks lik this

edit -> copy special -> copy merged
open Animation Shop
edit  -> paste as new animation
back in PSP
close the eyes of « noise 1 » and « selection 1 »
open the eyes of « noise 2 » and « selection 2»
edit -> copy special -> copy merged
in Animation Shop -> edit -> paste after current frame
leave the speed on 10
save your work type .gif
