Merydesig uses Animation Shop to create her animations
 I use Ulead Gif Animator. I added explanations for this software with Merydesig’s kind permissions

Material

open all tubes and duplicate them (window -> duplicate)
Close original tubes and work with the copies (to preserve the originals)
don’t forget to erase tubes’ watermarks before using them
copy / paste selection(s) into « selection » folder of Corel PSP folder
copy / paste gradient(s) into « gradient » folder of Corel PSP folder
copy / paste pattern into « patterns » floder of Corel PSP folder

FunHouse / Emission Mirror - Flaming Pdear / Flood  -  ScreenWorks / PinHole


use this pencil to follow the steps

open a new transparent image   900  ***  650  pixels
flod fill with the gradient « Chocolate » provided

rename this layer « 1 »
effects -> plugins -> Unlimited 2 -> FunHouse / Emission Mirror

layers -> new raster layer
flood fill with the pattern « belor » provided
selections -> load-save selection -> from disk -> selection »carre » provided

DELETE on you keyboard
layers -> duplicate
rename these two layers « 2 » and « 3 »
selections -> select none
highlight raster « 2 »
adjust -> add-remove noise -> add noise

highlight raster « 3 » -> add-remove noise -> add noise

using magic wand tool, select inside all the squares
selections -> expand -> 3 pixels
copy / paste « image » provided into selection on both rasters « 2 » and « 3 »
selections -> select none

effects -> distortion effects -> wave

apply this effect on layers « 2 » and « 3 »
make sure top layer is highlighted before going on

effects -> plugins -> Flaming Pear / Flood

apply the same effects on both layers « 2 » and « 3 »

layers -> new raster layer
flood fill with the pattern « Belor »
selections -> load-save selection -> from disk -> selection « notes »

DELETE on your keyboard
effects -> 3D effects -> drop shadow -> 2 / 1 / 100 / 2 / black
layers -> duplicate
rename these two layer « notes 1 » and « notes 2 »
add noise on both layers as in the end of step 3

copy / paste as new layer « merydesig-femme » (dancer)
effects -> 3D effects -> drop shadow -> 5 / 8 / 79 / 19 / black
move it to the right as shown on final result
rename this layer « dancer 1 »
layers -> duplicate  -  image -> mirror -> mirror horizontal
rename this layer « dancer 2 »

copy / paste as new layer « multicolor » tube provided
layers -> arrange -> move down
highlight top layer is highlighted before going on

selections -> select all
selections -> contract -> 25 pixels
effects -> 3D effects -> cutout -> 0 / 0 / 100 / 84 / black
selections -> select none

selections -> select all

flood fill selection with the gradient

effects -> plugins -> FunHouse -> Emission Mirror / same settings as in step 2

select blue parts with the magic wand tool
effects -> plugins -> ScreenWorks -> PinHole
selections -> select none

copy / paste as new layer the « or » tube provided
layers -> duplicate
rename both layers « frame 1 » and « frame 2 »
adjust -> add-remove noise -> add noise on both layers as in the end of step 3

in the layers palette, close the eyes of layers « 3 »  « notes 2 »   « dancer 2 »  « frame 2 »

your layers palette looks like this
edit -> copy special -> copy merged

animation with Animation Shop
open Animation Shop
file -> paste as new animation
back into PSP, close the eyes of layers « 2 »   « notes 1 »   « dancer 1 »   « frame 1 »
and open the eyes of layers « 3 »  « notes 2 »   « dancer 2 »  « frame 2 »
edit -> copy special -> copy merged
back into AS, paste after current frame
leave the speed on 10
save as... type .gif

animation with Ulead Gif Animator
in step 14, don’t copy merged, but save your work as... type .psd
open UGA and open your work into UGA

click on « duplicate frames » at the bottom

open and close the eyes of the objects on the right colum as shown below

save your work as ... type .gif
