Laurette and I worked with photoshop CS5
you can follow this tutorial with another version of Photoshop, but the result might be slightly different
don’t hesitate to change blend modes and opacities of the layers to match your personal colors and tubes
to import presets, double-click on them, or import
duplicate all the tubes and decorations, and alpha layers, and work with the copies to preserve originals
install the plugins necessary

Hints and Tips
TIP 1 -> if you don’t want to install a font -->
open it in a software as « Nexus Font » (or other font viewer software of you choice)
as long as both windows are opened (software and font), your font will be available in your PSP
TIP 2 -> from PSPX4, in the later versions of PSP the functions « Mirror » and « Flip » have been replaced by -->
« Mirror »has become  --> image => mirror => mirror horizontal
« Flip » has become  --> image => mirror => mirror vertical

Plugins needed
Filtre / Unlimited 2 /Mura’s Seamless  / Duplicate
Filtre / Simple / Diamonds
Filtre / AP [Lines] Lines-SilverLining...

colors

set FG to color 1 and BG to color 2

Use the pencil to mark your place along the way
hold down left click to grab and move it

open a new transparent layer => 900 * 600 px

view => rulers
activate the Paint Bucket Tool and flood fill with color 1

create a new layer
open the landscape misted image
Ctrl + A
Ctrl + C
back to your main work
Ctrl + V

filter => Unlimited 2 => Mura’s Seamless => Duplicate => Default settings

filter => blur => gaussian blur => 25%

layer => Duplicate (Ctrl +J)
highlight layer below (middle layer) and merge down (Ctrl + E)

 highlight top layer
open the mask => Ctrl + A  /  Ctrl + C
back to your work
Ctrl + V
edit => free Transform (Ctrl + T)
modify the size of the image by using the handles of the 4 corners, the image must cover all the surface of the tag

hit the ENTER key of your keyboard to validate
blend mode => Multiply

arrange this layer under « layer 1 copy »
highlight layer 1 copy
blend mode => Overlay

highlight the mask layer
open the landscape misted image
Ctrl + A
Ctrl + C
back to your main work
Ctrl + V
edit => free Transform (Ctrl + T)
modify the size of the image by using the handles of the 4 corners, the image must cover all the surface of the tag
hit the ENTER key of your keyboard to validate
activate the rectangular marquee tool (M)

select the two rectangles and delete (see snapshot below)

Ctrl + D
add a layer style => drop shadow

your layers palette must look like this

layer => flatten image (Shift + Ctrl + P)

image => canvas size => tick « relative » => 2 px (W and H) => color 3
image => canvas size => tick « relative » => 45 px (W and H) => color 4
enable the magic wand tool

select the 45 px frame
filter => Simple => Diamonds
filter => blur => gaussian blur => 25%
double click on the padlock in the layers palette => Ok (to transform into Raster)
add a layer style => Bevel and Emboss

Ctrl + D
layer => flatten image (Shift + Ctrl + P)

image => canvas size => tick « relative » => 2 px (W and H) => color 3
image => canvas size => tick « relative » => 70 px (W and H) => color 4
enable the magic wand tool
select the 70 px frame
filter => Simple => Diamonds
filter => blur => gaussian blur => 25%
filter => AP [Lines] Lines Silverlining => Mesh

filter => sharpen => unsharp mask => settings (50 - 3 - 0)

image => canvas size => tick « relative » => 2 px (W and H) => color 4
image => canvas size => tick « relative » => 45 px (W and H) => color 3
enable the magic wand tool
select the 45 px frame
filter => Simple => Diamonds
filter => blur => gaussian blur => 25%
filter => Texture => Grain

double click on the padlock in the layers palette => Ok
add a layer style => Bevel and Emboss

Ctrl + D
layer => flatten image (Shift + Ctrl + P)

apply your watermark or signature on a new layer
write your licence number if you used a licenced tube
layer => flatten image (Shift + Ctrl + P)
image => canvas size => tick « relative » => 2 px (W and H) => color 3
image => image size => ask for 950 px W

file => save as...
