Franie works with PSP 18, and I use PSP 2018
But this tutorial can be realized with another version of PSP
however, some differences might be noticed according to the version you use

all tubers apply their watermark without any exception !!!!!

Hints and Tips
TIP 1-> if you don’t want to install a font -->
open it in a software as « Nexus Font » (or other font viewer software of you choice)
as long as both windows are opened (software and font), your font will be available in your PSP
TIP 2 -> from PSPX4, in the later versions of PSP the functions « Mirror » and « Flip » have been replaced by -->
image -> Mirror  --> mirror -> mirror horizontal
image ->  Flip  --> mirror -> mirror vertical

1 mask by Sigrid - 1 mask by LF
2 tubes « landscapes »
2 tubes « decoration »
1 font
1 color palette
1 selection -> install into the folder « selections » of Corel PSP general folder
1 texture -> install into the folder « textures » of Corel PSP general folder
open the masks and minimize them to tray
duplicate all tubes and work with the copies

Tubers’ permissions


Franie’s colors
Don’t hesitate to change colors and blend modes of the layers
to match your tubes and images
color 1 -> #fff9ff
color 2-> #573361

Use this pencil to follow the steps
hold down left click to grab and move it

Realization

open a new transparent image 900 * 600 pixels

prepare your colors into the materials palette

flood fill the layer with color 2
layers -> new raster layer
flood fill with color 1
layers -> new mask layer -> from image

effects -> edge effects -> enhance
layers -> merge -> merge group
effects -> 3D effects -> drop shadow

layers -> new raster layer
layers -> load/save selection -> from disk

copy / paste into selection « paysage_473 » (landscape)
adjust -> sharpness -> sharpen
selections -> select none

highlight bottom layer
effects -> texture effects -> texture

adjust -> sharpness -> sharpen

layers -> new raster layer
flood fill with color 1
layers -> new mask layer -> from image

effects -> edge effects -> enhance
layers -> merge -> merge group
opacity of the layer : 60%

highlight top layer
close FG color
set color 1 as BG color
enable the Text tool

write « best whishes 2018 » (or another text of your choice of course)
layers -> convert to raster layer
effects -> 3D effects -> drop shadow as before
place it where you like

copy / paste as new layer « * mod_article256363485 * »
enable « change to target » tool (optional step)
with small touches , using color 2, change the color of some parts of the tube (Franie changed the bow’s color)
image -> resize -> untick « resize all layers » -> 75%
move bottom right
adjust -> sharpness -> sharpen more
effects -> 3D effects -> drop shadow

image -> add borders -> tick « symmetric » -> 2 pixels color 1
apply your watermark
layers -> merge -> merge visible
if you don’t want to animate your tag -> file -> save as... type .jpeg

to create the animation
layers -> duplicate TWICE
highlight « copy (2) of merged
selections -> load/save selection -> from disk

effects -> plugins -> Alien Skin Xenofex 2 -> Constellation

close the eye of the layer
highlight « copy of Merged »
effects -> plugins -> Alien Skin Xenofex 2 -> Constellation
click on « random seed » -> OK
close the eye of the layer
highlight bottom layer
effects -> plugins -> Alien Skin Xenofex 2 -> Constellation
click on « random seed » -> OK
selections -> select none
Copy
open Animation Shop -> edit -> paste as new animation
back into PSP
close the eye of « merged » and open the yey of « copy of merged »
copy
back into Animation Shop -> edit -> paste after current frame
back into PSP
close the eye of « copy of merged » and open the yey of « copy (2) of merged »
copy
back into Animation Shop -> edit -> paste after current frame
edit -> select all
view the animation
if you are satisfied, edit -> saves as... type .gif

write the copyright © license number
apply your watermark
layers -> merge -> merge all (flatten)
save as... type .jpeg
