you can follow this tutorial with another version of PSP, but the result might be slightly different

Supplies
tubes – selections – palette - mask

TIP 1 -> if you don’t want to install a font -->
open it in a software as « Nexus Font » (or other font viewer software of you choice)
as long as both windows are opened (software and font), your font will be available in your PSP
TIP 2 -> from PSPX4, in the later versions of PSP the functions « Mirror » and « Flip » have been replaced by -->
« Mirror »has become  --> image => mirror => mirror horizontal
« Flip » has become  --> image => mirror => mirror vertical

Unlimited 2.0 / Filter Factory Gallery M / Motion Trail
Alien Skin / Eye Candy 5 :Impact / Glass

prepare your work
duplicate all the tubes and work with the copies to preserve originals
open the mask and mimimize to tray
save your work often in case of problems with your psp
double-click on the preset to install
place selections into the dedicated folder of your PSP general folder
use the Dropper tool to pick up your colors into your tubes and misted images

don’t hesitate to change blend modes and opacities of the layers to match your personal colors and tubes

prepare a sunburst gradient in materials palette

open a new image => transparent =>  920 * 550 px
flood fill layer with the gradient
effect => image effects => seamless tiling

effects => texture effects => fur

layers => new raster layer
flood fill white
layers => new mask layer => from image

layers => merge => merge group
layers => duplicate
layers => merge => merge down
effects => 3D effects => drop shadow => 3 / 3 / 30 / 30 / black

selections => load-save selection => from disk => selection #1

copy / paste the landscape tube as new layer
if you change the tube, choose a panoramic image best resized to 880 X 633 px (untick « resize all layers »)
adjust => sharpness => sharpen
selections => invert
hit the DELETE key of your keyboard

selections => modify = > select selection borders / both sides / 3 / tick « anti-alias»

prepare a linear gradient in materials palette

layers => new raster layer
flood fill selection with the gradient
selections => select none
layers => merge => merge down
effects => 3D effects => drop shadow => 3 / 3 / 30 / 30 / black  
effects => 3D effects => drop shadow => -3 / -3 / 30 / 30 / black

copy / paste « Image2 » tube as new layer
image => resize => untick « resize all layers » =>  96%
adjust => sharpness => sharpen
effects => image effects => offset => H :  7 / V : -35 / tick « custom » and « transparent »
if you use another tube, make sure top decoration doesn’t hide it
effects => 3D effects => drop shadow => 3 / 3 / 30 / 35 / black

copy / paste «  Déco Noël du Haut » tube as new layer
effects => image effects => offset => H :  10 / V : 231 / tick « custom » and « transparent »

enable the text tool => font « Harrington » (provided)

write « Friend » in capital letters
layers => convert to raster layer
place as shown on final result
resize if necessary
adjust => sharpness => sharpen
enable the text tool
write « Yoli » in capital letters
layers => convert to raster layer
place as shown on final result
resize if necessary
adjust => sharpness => sharpen
make sure both texts are in the right place
layers => merge => merge down
effects => 3D effects => drop shadow => 4 / 4 / 50 / 5 / black 
apply your watermark or signature on a new layer
write your licence number if you used a licenced tube
layers => merge => merge all (flatten)
file => save your work as... type .jpeg
