Animabelle and I worked with PSP2020
you can follow this tutorial with another version of PSP, but the result might be slightly different
Supplies
Masks – tubes - selection - preset
double click on the preset and it will be installed automatically TIP 1 -> if you don’t want to install a font -->
open it in a software as « Nexus Font » (or other font viewer software of you choice)
as long as both windows are opened (software and font), your font will be available in your PSP TIP 2 -> from PSPX4, in the later versions of PSP the functions « Mirror » and « Flip » have been replaced by -->
« Mirror »has become --> image => mirror => mirror horizontal
« Flip » has become --> image => mirror => mirror vertical

hold down left click to grab and move it

duplicate all the tubes and work with the copies to preserve originals
save your work often in case of problems with your psp

use the Dropper tool to pick up your colors into your tubes and misted images
Animabelle chose these :
don’t hesitate to change blend modes and opacities of the layers to match your personal colors and tubes
open the masks and minimize to tray
place selections and into the folder « selections » of PSP general folder

open a new image => transparent => 800 * 500 px
set FG to color 2 and BG to color 3 in materials palette
prepare a sunburst gradient in materials palette
flood fill layer with the gradient
effects => plugins => Unlimited 2 => Tilers => Petal Tile

selections => load-save selection => from disk => selection # 1
blend mode of the layer : Dissolve / opacity : 20%
layers => arrange => move down

layers => new raster layer
selections => load-save selection => from disk => selection # 2
flood fill selection with color 3
effects => plugins => Tramages / Pool Shadow (default settings)
effects => 3D effects => Inner Bevel
selections => select none

highlight bottom layer
selections => load-save selection => from disk => selection # 3
selections => promote selection to layer
keep selection active

layers => arrange => bring to top
image => resize => untick « resize all layers » => 40%
adjust => sharpness => sharpen

enable the Pick tool with the following settings, to move the layer acurately => position X : 94 / position Y : 70
selections => load-save selection => from disk => selection # 4
layers => duplicate
highlight Raster 2 (second from bottom)
copy / paste the misted tube « 07_Animaux_Page3_Animabelle » as new layer
don’t forget to erase the watermark
image => resize => untick « resize all layers » => 85%
adjust => sharpness => sharpen be careful : if you choose another misted image, it must not be too large
layers => merge => merge down
selections => invert
effects => 3D effects => drop shadow => 0 / 0 / 100 / 60 / black (untick the box bottom left)
selections => select none

copy / paste the character tube as new layer
don’t forget to erase the watermark
resize if necessary
adjust => sharpness => sharpen
drop a shadow of your choice

set white as FG and BG color
choose the font « PC Ragtime » - size38 px - thickness : 0
write « Kalyssa » (or another name of your choice)
right click on the layer in the layers palette
layers => convert to raster layer
place as shown on final result (or elsewhere if you wish)
effects => 3D effects => drop shadow => 2 / 2 / 100 / 1 / black (untick the box bottom left)
Animabelle provides the layer corresponding to this step, (shadow is already dropped)
layers => merge => merge all (flatten)

apply your watermark or signature on a new layer
write your licence number if you used a licenced tube
layers => merge => merge all (flatten)
file => save your work as... type .jpeg optimized
