to created this tutorial, Animabelle worked with PSP12 and I worked with PSP2020
you can follow this tutorial with another version of PSP, but the result might be slightly different

Supplies
tubes – mask – palette – selections - image

TIP 1 -> if you don’t want to install a font -->
open it in a software as « Nexus Font » (or other font viewer software of you choice)
as long as both windows are opened (software and font), your font will be available in your PSP
TIP 2 -> from PSPX4, in the later versions of PSP the functions « Mirror » and « Flip » have been replaced by -->
« Mirror »has become --> image => mirror => mirror horizontal
« Flip » has become --> image => mirror => mirror vertical

Use the pencil to mark your place
along the way
hold down left click to grab and move it
 |

Prepare your work
duplicate all the tubes and work with the copies to preserve originals
open the mask and mimimize to tray
doublie-click on the preset to install
place the selections into the dedicated folder of « My Corel PSP » general folder
save your work often in case of problems with your psp
use the Dropper tool to pick up your colors into your tubes and misted images
Animabelle chose these :

don’t hesitate to change blend modes and opacities of the layers to match your personal colors and tubes

open a new image => transparent => 900 * 500 px
flood fill layer with the following gradient

effects => plugins => VM Distortion => Flipper

effects => edge effects => enhance more
effects => plugins => VDL Adrenaline => Snowflakes

effects => plugins => Unlimited 2 => VM Texture / Stardust

adjust => sharpness => sharpen
effects => plugins => Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 => Nature => Snow Drift

layers => new raster layer
flood fill with color 1
layers => new mask layer => from image

layers => merge => merge group
image => resize => untick « resize all layers » => 80%
effects => 3D effects => drop shadow => 2 / 2 / 100 / 1 / WHITE
effects => image effects => offset => H : 0 / V : 20 / tick « custom » and « transparent »
layers => new raster layer
layers => arrange => move down
selections => load-save selection => from disk => selection # 3
flood fill selection with color 3
selections => select none
highlight top layer
layers => merge => merge down
select the transparent part of the ellipse shape with the Magic Wand tool / Tolerance : 10
edit => cut
selections => select none
layers => new raster layer
selections => load-save selection => from disk => selection # 1
copy / paste the background image as new layer (fond_magie_noel)
place it properly in the ellipse shape
selections => invert
edit => cut
selections => invert
effects => plugins => Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 => Impact / Glass
apply the preset provided

selections => select none
layers => arrange => move down TWICE
close the eye of bottom layer
highlight top layer
layers => merge => merge visible
open the eye of bottom layer but keep top layer highlighted
copy / paste the tube created by Criss as new layer
image => resize => untick « resize all layers » => 50%
effects => 3D effects => drop shadow => -12 / 12 / 30 / 50 / WHITE
adjust => sharpness
move this tube bottom right (see final result)
copy / paste the tube created by Nikita as new layer
(don’t forget to erase the watermark)
image => resize => untick « resize all layers » => 75%
move this tube bottom left (see final result)
adjust => sharpness
image => add borders => tick « symmetric » => 2 px color 1
image => add borders => tick « symmetric » => 30 px color 2
select last border with the magic wand tool
flood fill selection with the following gradient

effects => plugins => Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 => Textures / Texture Noise / Heavy Rain

effects => edge effects => enhance
selections => select none
image => add borders => tick « symmetric » => 2 px color 1
image => add borders => tick « symmetric » => 40 px color 2
select last border with the magic wand tool
flood fill selection with color 1

move this tube top left (see final result)

layers => duplicate
image => mirror => mirror horizontal
layers => merge => merge down
layers => duplicate
image => mirror => mirror vertical
image => add borders => tick « symmetric » => 2 px color 1
if you want to add a text, write the text you want (choose the font you want, too…)
apply your watermark or signature on a new layer
write your licence number if you used a licenced tube
layers => merge => merge all (flatten)
resize if you wish
file => save your work as... type .jpeg optimized
