but you can follow this tutorial with another version of PSP, however the result might be slightly different

Supplies
1 alpha layer (père noel psp image) - mists - mask - tubes - 1 picture tube (poudre d’argent)

double-click on the preset to install, or import
open the tubes, duplicate, close the originals, and work with the copies
place the selections, gradients, patterns,... provided into the dedicated folders of Corel PSP General folder
open the mask and minimize to tray
TIP 1 -> if you don’t want to install a font -->
open it in a software as « Nexus Font » (or other font viewer software of you choice)
as long as both windows are opened (software and font), your font will be available in your PSP
TIP 2 -> from PSPX4, in the later versions of PSP the functions « Mirror » and « Flip » have been replaced by -->
« Mirror »has become  --> image => mirror => mirror horizontal
« Flip » has become  --> image => mirror => mirror vertical

effects => edge effects => enhance
layers => merge => merge group
edit => cut
selections => select all
selections => modify => contract => 30 px
edit => paste into selection

arrange under the mask layer
selections => load-save selection => from alpha channel => selection # 1
into the materials palette, set color 1 as FG color and color 2 a BG color
prepare a sunburst gradient into the FG box

flood fill selection with the gradient
copy / paste « mist 1 » into selection
selections => select none
layers => new raster layer
selections => load-save selection => from alpha channel => selection # 2
flood fill selection with the gradient
copy / paste « mist 2 » into selection
selections => select none
layers => new raster layer
selections => load-save selection => from alpha channel => selection # 3
flood fill selection with the gradient
copy / paste « mist 3 » into selection
selections => select none
copy / paste the main tube as new layer and  place as shown on final result (bottom right)
apply your watermark or signature
write your licence number if you used a licenced tube
copy / paste « deco » as new layer
layers => duplicate TWICE
place as shown on final result
highlight top layer
layers => merge => merge down twice => the 3 decorations are on the same layer now
copy / paste the text tube as new layer and  place as shown on final result (top right)
layers => new raster layer
apply the picture tube (poudre argent) here and there (to your likings)
copy / paste the frame tube as new layer
layers => merge => merge down
then merge down two times more => decorations, text, poudre d’argent and frame must be on the same layer
your layers palette looks like this

save your work as... type .jpeg if you don’t want to animate your tag
otherwise follow the « Animation » step

Animation
highlight top layer
adjust => add-remove noise => add noise / 20

edit => copy special => copy merged
open Animation Shop => paste as new animation
back into PSP
edit => undo
adjust => add-remove noise => add noise / 30
edit => copy special => copy merged
back into Animation Shop => paste after current frame
back into PSP
edit => undo
adjust => add-remove noise => add noise / 40
edit => copy special => copy merged
back into Animation Shop => paste after current frame
save your work as... type .gif / default image properties (10)
