but you can follow this tutorial with another version of PSP, however the result might be slightly different

Supplies
tubes - animation - image

open the tubes, duplicate, close the originals, and work with the copies
double click on the preset to install or import
open the mask(s) and minimize to tray
TIP 1 -> if you don’t want to install a font -->
open it in a software as « Nexus Font » (or other font viewer software of you choice)
as long as both windows are opened (software and font), your font will be available in your PSP
TIP 2 -> from PSPX4, in the later versions of PSP the functions « Mirror » and « Flip » have been replaced by -->
« Mirror »has become  --> image => mirror => mirror horizontal
« Flip » has become  --> image => mirror => mirror vertical

open a new image => transparent =>  900 * 600 px
selections => select all
copy / paste the landscape tube into selection
selections => select none

layers => duplicate
image => mirror => mirror horizontal
image => mirror => mirror vertical
opacity of the layer :  50%
layers => merge => merge visible

select inside the circle with the Magic Wand tool
copy / paste the landscape tube as new layer
layers => arrange => move down
selections => invert
hit the DELETE key of your keyboard
selections => select none
effects => plugins => Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact / Glass / preset « Clear » / default settings
layers => merge => merge visible
layers => duplicate
image => resize => untick « resize all layers » => 20%

move to right side
effects => 3D effects => drop shadow => 10 / 10 / 40 / 35 / black

copy / paste the character tube as new layer
drop a shadow of your choice
image => add borders => tick « symmetric » => 2 px / dark color picked up into you main tube
edit => copy
image => add borders => tick « symmetric » => 30 px / white
select this last border with the Magic Wand tool
edit => paste into selection
selections => promote selection to layer
selections => select none
effects => plugins => VanDerLee => Unplugged-X / Defocus / default settings
effects => plugins => Graphics Plus => Cross Shadow / default settings
selections => select all
selections => modify => contract => 30 px
effects => 3D effects => drop shadow => 10 / 10 / 40 / 35 / black
effects => 3D effects => drop shadow => -10 / -10 / 40 / 35 / black
place / layers => merge => merge all (flatten)
save as... type .jpeg

Animation
open Animation Shop
open your tag as new animation
duplicate 5 times => you now have 6 images
hint => to duplicate hold down the Ctrl key of your keyboard ; each hit on the « L » key duplicates the image  once
edit => select all
open the animation « feuilles » provided
edit => select all
edit => copy
back to your work, right click into the first image => paste into selected frame
place properly, and release the animation with a left-click
animation => image properties => 60
save your work as... type .gif
