Supplies
images and tubes - selection - text tube - font - gold tile
open the tubes, duplicate, close the originals, and work with the copies
place the selection, patterns,... provided into the dedicated folders of Corel PSP General folder
or import
open the mask and minimize to tray TIP 1 -> if you don’t want to install a font -->
open it in a software as « Nexus Font » (or other font viewer software of you choice)
as long as both windows are opened (software and font), your font will be available in your PSP TIP 2 -> from PSPX4, in the later versions of PSP the functions « Mirror » and « Flip » have been replaced by -->
« Mirror »has become --> image => mirror => mirror horizontal
« Flip » has become --> image => mirror => mirror vertical

hold down left click to grab and move it
Realization
open a new image => transparent => 900 * 600 px
selections => select all
copy / paste the background image (fond) into selection
copy / paste the book tube as new layer
objects => align => center in canvas
layers => new raster layer
selections => load-save selection => from disk => selection provided
copy / paste the landscape tube into selection
selections => select none
copy / paste all the characters as new layers and place (see final result)
close the eye of Raster 1
highlight another layer
layers => merge => merge visible
your layers palette look like this

place the gold tile provided as pattern into the materials palette
selections => select all
flood fill layer with the pattern
selections => modify => contract => 7 px
hit the DELETE key of your keyboard
selections => select none
layers => duplicate TWICE
rename the 3 layers => « border 1 » and « border 2 » and « border 3 »
layers => new raster layer
flood fill layer with the pattern
layers => new mask layer => from image
layers => merge => merge group
layers => duplicate TWICE
rename the 3 layers => « mask 1 » and « mask 2 » and « mask 3 »
your layers palette look like this
highlight top layer
copy / paste the star tube as new layer and place properly
layers => duplicate TWICE
rename the 3 layers => « star 1 » and « star 2 » and « star 3 »
copy / paste the text tube as new layer
(if you want to create another text, the font used for this tube is included into the supplies folder)
layers => duplicate TWICE
rename the 3 layers => « text 1 » and « text 2 » and « text 3 »
your layers palette look like this
add your watermark and write your license numbers if you used licensed tubes
if you don’t want to create the animation => layers => merge => merge all (flatten)
save your work as... type .jpeg
do the same work on « mask 1 » « star 1 « « text 1 »

adjust => add-remove noise => add noise => 35 on « border 2 » « mask 2 » « star 2 « « text 2 »
adjust => add-remove noise => add noise => 45 on « border 3 » « mask 3 » « star 3 « « text 3 »
close the eyes of all the layers « ...2 » and « ...3 »
highlight background layer
edit => copy special => copy merged
open Animation Shop => paste as new animation
back into PSP
close the eyes of all the layers « ...1 » and open the eyes of all the layer « ...2 »
edit => copy special => copy merged
into animation shop => paste after current frame
back into PSP
close the eyes of all the layers « ...2 » and open the eyes of all the layer « ...3 »
edit => copy special => copy merged
into animation shop => paste after current frame
view your animation to make sure everything is all right
save as ... type .gif
